Founded in 1929 by Marc Bloch and Lucien Febvre, the Annales has always sought to transcend its prestigious heritage by continually presenting the most innovative research in the field of history.

Annales de démographie historique

Founded by the Société de Démographie Historique, the journal publishes international research on history of population, family, mobility, and health. It takes into account cultural and national diversities.

Annales historiques de la Révolution française

This journal publishes new work and previously unpublished documents related to a revolutionary period understood in a broader time and space than simply the French Revolution, allowing it to cover all the revolutionary movements that took place in the world between 1770 and the 1830s.

Matériaux pour l’histoire de notre temps
